Finally decided to start making some modifications...
Hi, I posted on here a while back.
I've got a bunch of cars and about half are projects. It's time to start playing with this particular project. This particular truck I enjoy driving, except when I have to turn the truck. It's not confidence inspiring . It's a 1970 Chevrolet C10 with a GoodWrench 350 The goals with the truck are make a competent daily driver that can do most basic things and be comfortable doing it. I've made four goals. - Stop faster - Turn harder - Quarter mile goals of 14.5-15.0@98-102 mph (this isn't much power, but that's all I desire for this particular vehicle.) - Highly dependable So far I've recovered the seat, fixed a few trim items and installed a Stereo with Focal speakers in the door . I've also installed an thermostatically controlled electric fan. I just removed the GT Grant Steering wheel that was in the truck and replaced it with a MOMO Adapter and Suede MOMO Mod 07 wheel http://m.imgur.com/gallery/zO7R2TN Ive also just received the Hotchkis front and rear blade style sway bar kit. I plan on installing their torque arm and spring relocation kits in the future. http://m.imgur.com/ypZG5yu Next go round is searching for a complete bushing kit and the shocks and torque bar setup from Hotchkis in a couple of weeks. Every job has to start somewhere and at least you're making progress. Stay the course and it will be even more rewarding at the end...
