I knew the C6/7 mounting arrangement is the same & the strength increased as did the cost for the improved bearing unit (C6 ZR1/C7 SKF unit).

The C5 and C6 spindles are exact, they made some changes in control arm design between them but the spindles are the same.
The C7 bearing is actually really cheap for what it is, they are less than 1/2 the price of a C6 ZR1 bearing.
