The price of all three of the above end up being pretty much the same. The NV3500 is a five speed, and can be had in 4x4 dress, but the torque capacity peaks at 290-300ft-lb... not enough for a Big Block 400 say nothing of a 454. The S10 4x4 T5, rated at only 250ft-lb, doesn't have anywhere near the torque capacity for a mildly built smallblock, stock 6.2L Diesel, or even a 250 I6. The NP440/A833 MM7 doesn't quite have the torque capacity for a 454 and, even tho it's an overdrive trans, it's a 4 speed.
