T56 & Slave Cylinder Fitment Help Needed
Bought a new GM Performace Parts T56 and install kit. The slave cylinder disconnect does not clear the transmission out of the box, is GM just this sloppy? One side of me says to pull out the die grinder, the other side of me says maybe I am doing something wrong?

Re: T56 & Slave Cylinder Fitment Help Needed
Yep, spent 5 minutes with a flat file, cleaned it up and it fit just fine. Doesn't line up with the bell housing but it works:
The upper hole for the bleeder looks like it was milled correct. Guess someone went to lunch and forgot to finish when they got back that day. |
