Re: Cab fuel filler to rear tank
Just an up date on this, I've put over 1000 miles on it with several top ups. I hold the gas nozzle at 3/4 to full and the gas flows in well. I've had people ask if it had the original tank because of the fill local. It has worked out great.

I really want more room inside the cab (I'm a stereo guy) and a slightly bigger tank is a plus too. I also want to keep the original fill location - well because I want it to look original. I have a feeling I'd be mulling this over for a long time for my 72 LWB Truck.

Re: Cab fuel filler to rear tank
What type of material did you use for the tubing from the cab to the rear of the truck? I was wondering if EMT conduit would work or if the zinc coating would cause a problem with the fuel.

Re: Cab fuel filler to rear tank
I used tubing from my daughters old bunk beds and some exhaust tubing the has galv on it. No problems with zinc. I add zinc to the oil and gas with my original 283 any ways. It's been 5 years without issues
