Trucks in commercials
Ok I'm sure all of you have noticed as well as me that there are quite a few of our style trucks in commercials these days.
Are any of the trucks owned by board members? For example the Miller High Life commercial has a 3/4 ton parked at the curb when he looks down from his apartment. Just wondering who's got famous rides here? MOD

Re: Trucks in commercials
theres a long thread on our trucks on TV. I think one of the guys from "are you faster than a redneck" chimed in.
theres a New Hampshire online college that uses a blue one. theres one in the general metal buildings commercial. another blue one, GMC the "farm Truck" is in IronMan 2 Theres one that almost causes a wreck in a vw or honda commercial. I think that one was gold. |

Re: Trucks in commercials
I must not have used the correct 'search' terms because I didn't find it...
Yes SNHU has the blue truck... I'll look harder for the thread, thanks

Re: Trucks in commercials
Cool threads, thank you.
But I was wondering if there were members rides in any of the new commercials The trucks can't all be from studio rental lots... Just curious.

Re: Trucks in commercials
It's been a while... but we had one member that had their truck used in a music video and another that was used as the cover shot for a new murder mystery Novel.

Re: Trucks in commercials
Yeah, the CHiP's episodes always had C series trucks in them, and John's blue square body step side.
Rockford's dad had the charcoal square body step side too...

Re: Trucks in commercials
The thread is a bit older but I wanted to share something I happened to stumble upon:
Abercrombie - Gifts with Character Is the truck's owner a board member? Either way, I like it. Last edited by nibulus; 12-16-2016 at 08:38 AM. Reason: Update link |

Re: Trucks in commercials
Heck yeah. This thread should be brought back every time a new ad comes out with a 67-72. Thanks for sharing
EDIT: Where's the truck?

Re: Trucks in commercials
There's a Dewars whisky commercial that shows a guy riding a motorcycle to see his buddy for a reunion and when he pulls into the drive there's, for a second, a shot of what looks to me to be a 68 fleetside. Long bed I think.
