This thread makes me want to go out and hose down the entire front of my '70 LB with PB-Blaster as I know the front end will need to come apart sooner rather than later. (I know that doesn't necessarily help with a "taper-fit" ball joint, but it can't hurt!)

get the sawall out took me about 10minutes to slice thro the stubborn ball joint on it's way to the dumpster
