YORK compressor for Airbags

This is the best forum ever, so many people who knows everything in here.

We are planning to use a York compressor for the airbags instead of a noicy electric one, we have this in one of the other c-10 and used it for several years, BUT we have never chequed the oil in it, and have no ide of what kint of oil to put in it.
We read that 8 ounces of 10-30 engine oil will be good, but can we use syntetic oil or mineral oil?
also see there is a dipstick avaliable but no pictures, how is the correct way to do this? maybe it is a good thing to cheque the oil in the compressor sometime?

Here is a pretty good manual on the subject.

and a better quality version: http://240.se/litteratur/york.pdf
Yours is a 209.

Re: YORK compressor for Airbags

I ran straight 30 weight in the Yorks I had on my wheelers. Never did check the oil on either one and never had an issue. They are awesome compressors
