Looking for my old truck

Hey gang,
Some of you may remember me and my '70 Stepside. Long story short, i was forced to sell it in July 2015. Well, she's gone now and I would love to locate my ride. I sold it to a dealer in Lakeland, Fla. They painted it a semi-flat black. I have an "after" picture. Has anyone here spotted my pride? Could be anywhere.
Thanks up-front.

Re: Looking for my old truck

Do you still have the VIN or the name of the place you sold it from? We've located a few trucks lately just googling the VIN.

Nice looking truck. Don't blame you for wanting it back.
Did you put the tool box in the bed? If so what size is it
where did you get it. Thanks

Re: Looking for my old truck

The "toolbox" is a 48" box that is a "Dee Cee" clone from Tractor Supply. I installed a custom modified RCI aluminum (27gal.) fuel cell inside the box. Other notable features include custom LED bullet taillights, a new 350 crate motor, 200r4 O/D, and aftermarket underdash AC, custom dash panel with Camero speedo, SpeedHut Tach, etc.
The truck became a storage issue with my ex. Also dumped her past March. Now I want my truck back ..LOL

Re: Looking for my old truck

I don't know about in Florida but in Oklahoma you could have a tag agent run the VIN and they should be able to tell you who the present owner is. Good Luck it is a very nice truck.

Re: Looking for my old truck

It is clearly for sale at that dealership. Maybe they just don't want a "previous owner" to know it is there fearing that you have some claim or something that would muck up their sale of it.
Just go to the lot and look around. If you don't see it, ask if they have any classic trucks and take it from there. Brian

Re: Looking for my old truck

Here's the dealer that might have it. Primo Classics International in Lakeland, FL.

Here's their ad.
http://www.iseecars.com/dealer-95455...d=100223653335

It was listed on eBay about 4 times and the seller stopped the auction.
