E-Braje cable snapped. How do I replace?

I have a 63. My parking brake cable snapped lastnight when I was parking in my garage. I had to disengage the cable with a crowbar to push back the bracket that pulls the cables.
I've never replaced the main cable before. Is there a certain way it needs to be done? Has anyone done it before and can walk me through it? What length cable am I looking for a 63'? Thank you

What are you calling the main cable? The one from the handle to the lever under the truck? LMC has the 63 cables. Its not bad at all to change them. If you use it often may be a good time to check them all and replace what ever it needs while you have it apart.

That one is really easy. A couple of pins and a couple of clips and it will come right out. If you order a new cable order the rubber gromet for the floor. Old ones don't tent to be much good.

It is also common for the cables going back to the brake shoes to seize up.
