47-53 grill driver quality

I have this grill that came of my 50. It only has surface rust, but it has a couple coats of paint in different colors on it. There is one nickel-sized dent in the area where the red circle is on the picture.

$60 + ride? I have a bike box that I can pack this in, or if you are local I'm located near Exit 4 of the NJTP and about 10 miles from Philly on the Joisey side. (Moorestown).

Please let me know if you are willing to separate this grill and sell an individual bar and the lights. If so, how much would you charge? I also understand if not. Thanks,

Re: 47-53 grill driver quality

I'll send you whatever parts you want if you pay me what I'm asking for the whole grill. I can scrap the rest. But no, I'm not interested in breaking this up and trying to sell it piecemeal.

Re: 47-53 grill driver quality

OK so I checked UPS ($125) and Fedex ($150). The box size is what kills the price now that they've all gone to dimensional pricing.

Greyhound to the Houston terminal is $75. Don't know how far that is from you though.

Let me know if you still want to go ahead with this.

You're right. I am going to have to pass due to freight costs. Thanks!

Re: 47-53 grill driver quality

Yep, sorry, this move to dimensional weight by UPS and Fedex has made it hard to ship large items like this.

For anyone else considering buying this item, you should look at Greyhound to get shipping cost. My station is Mt. Laurel, NJ, the largest dimension of the box is 51" and the weight is 27 lb.

Happy to do local pickup for anyone in the South Jersey/Philly area as well.

Unless their prices have changed also, Fastenal ships reasonable store to store.

Re: 47-53 grill driver quality

Not trying to be a jerk but I sent you lots of pictures, we went back and forth on it, and you still didn't seem pleased with what you saw. If you've changed your mind, I am going out of town for a week and will be back on the 7th. I am driving up to Effort PA when I get back to pick up a bed from another board member, if that is near you perhaps we could arrange to meet either there or somewhere along the way and you could look at the grill and decide if you want it or not. PM me if you'd like to do that. I won't have access to the forum until I get back but I'll check before I go.

Re: 47-53 grill driver quality

I was asking questions about the grill, after my 2nd or 3rd question you told me you didn't want to tell it to me as you said " this is not up to your quality, you should look elsewhere for a grill, goodluck" As i am new to this scene you have to be patient with new members.

Re: 47-53 grill driver quality

guys, shipping this thing is not cheap. I just answered another inquiry by PM.

Greyhound seems to want $75 to ship it, and UPS ends up being $125-150. With decent repops selling for around $200 I don't see this as being worth the price of shipping. But value like beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
