New! 88-98 C1500 Revelator Big Brake Kit
We have finally finished adapting our Revelator Big Brake Kit to the 88-98 C1500 trucks! This will work on any HD (1.25" Rotor) drop spindle for these trucks, and requires some simple modifications to adapt the kit (same as our C10 version). The front uses the Corvette C5 caliper on a 14" cross/drilled, directionally vented & zinc plated rotor. The rear is single piston rear caliper on a 13" cross/drilled, directionally vented & zinc plated rotor. Front Kit: $995 Rear Kit: $775 Front and Rear Kit w/ SS Hoses: $1950 FRONT KIT: This brake kit will work with any disc brake drop spindle, such as McGaughys, Street Edge, BellTech, etc. You will receive a template and instructions on modifying your spindle, which requires cutting of the caliper "ears" and drilling and tapping for the caliper mounting bracket. Works only on HD rotor drop spindles. Note: This kit has a caliper offset of 0.304". Spindle not included. Must use drop spindle, and requires user modification (Instructions provided). Rotor, Drilled / Slotted / Zinc Plated with Directional Vanes (1.1" Thick) - Machined Aluminum Hub - 5x5 Bolt Pattern - Caliper Mounting Bracket - All Necessary Hardware - Brake Pads REAR KIT: This new brake kit will work with 88-98 rear ends with a bolt-on backing plate, and NOT require machining to the axle or rotors, because we use a true truck rotor. This caliper has an integrated parking brake, but will function without it hooked up. Must measure axle housing bolt pattern and axle offset before ordering. These trucks used many rear ends through the year, and must confirm to make sure you receive the right kit.
