American autowire harness 51004

Hello,

I have a American autowire harness 51004 power plus 13. I'm getting ready to wire up my reverse tail lights and I not sure which wire it is. I have only 3 wires that I ran from the harness to the back. I have a yellow, brown and a dark green wire. Did I forget to run the wire for the reverse tail lights?
Thanks,
Ramiro

Re: American autowire harness 51004

Which wire is for the reverse tail lights? Do I have to splice into the brown wire?

I checked all the wires from the harness. I don't see a wire labeled reverse tail light.

dark green looks like it is right side stop and turn light
yellow is for the left side stop and turn
Brown is for the tail lights
light green is for the back up lights

Re: American autowire harness 51004

If the wires are anything like the "classic update" kit, there should be a light green wire to the back also

JDL I don't have a light green wire on the harness I have that goes to the rear of the truck. I'm looking at the harness instructions and it don't mention back up light wires. Attached is a picture of the instructions for the rear.

It sure sounds like it. Might have to call the manufacturer to see what options I have to get a backup light wire of the fuse panel.
