Late Model GM Rims on 99 Suburban

I have a 99 Suburban with original aluminum wheels. Would I be able to put some of the newer factory wheels on it with an adapter? I was looking at some new factory take offs from like a 2015 Suburban. I wasn't sure how the offset stacks up with the adapter. I'm only toying around with the idea and if this would fit I would only use some high quality US made adapter. Thanks

He's talking about adapters, so I'm assuming he's wanting to put some newer 6-lug wheels on his 5-lug truck.

He does mention adapters, but he doesn't mention what he has now, 5, 6, or 8 lug. If you have 6 lug, the newer 6 lug wheels will bolt right on. If you have 8 lug, the newer 8 lug wheels will bolt on(only if they are off a suburban, the truck pattern changed in 2011). If you have 5 lug now, you'll need an adapter to change to the lug pattern. I don't know about Texas, but in pa, it's illegal to put on any spacers or adapters that are thicker than 1/4". It won't pass safety and inspection.
