1957 Chev, lady owner needs help !!

Hi guys, so my dad past away and left me his beloved recently restored truck. On his last drive it decided to throw a piston. I had a mate take motor out and I bought new pistons and rings, bearings and new crank. Now heres where I get stuck. I need to find some new frost plugs, and also 2 keyways for the new crank. The motor is a 235 shiftmaster, straight inline 6, right hand drive. Any help that you guys could advise me on would be bloody awesome !!!! Thanks in advance.

Good morn. Sorry for your loss. Nice truck. I don't have the parts you are looking for but I think you have come to the right place. I bet someone here has those parts.
Good luck with the build!

Pic of what used to be a frost plug, measures 5cm across, the keyways are 4.5 something wide, sorry but being a woman and all my measurement description is not normal haha

Very nice truck your dad had...just read your other post and it seems as if you need to find a competent mechanic..there's more to putting a engine back in than just hooking up wires..as for freeze plugs you would need to measure the water jacket holes to be sure you get the right size...I'm assuming the key you need is for the harmonic balancer....you need a woodruff key for that...https://www.summitracing.com/parts/p...et?prefilter=1

Yeh i get that, just my terminology is lacking, i know its more than just wires ! I helped take it out. The keys go into the end of the crank for some pully thingy......

If you've got one freeze plug in that bad of shape then they all need to be replaced...any parts store should be able to fix you up on those..
