New seats
Scored some new seats for the burb. Needed something with a little more safety the 1971 had to offer. 05 escalade seats and console. Has anyone used 3rd row and made it removable?

Re: New seats
I've been wanting to do the same with mine only in black. I cant wait to see pics of it all installed!! Especially the console. Mine currently has early 2000's Suburban interior.

Re: New seats
Nice, I'm about to do the same thing. I'm going to pull them from a 2004 Suburban. I'm interested to see how you mount them. If you could take some of the mounting pics once you do it that would be great.
They look like there in really nice shape. Good luck with the install. Nick |

Re: New seats
Someone on here did it by swapping out the whole rear floor.
Ranger, I recognize those seats. 93-94 Suburban.

Re: New seats
Seats are in decent shape, drivers has wear but for the price I couldn't go wrong. Front and middle seats should be fairly easy as the tracks are flat. I'm sure I can figure out a slick mounting setup for the 3rd row

Re: New seats
Would it be easier to use another set of second row seats in the 3rd row? Those seat brackets mount flat. Just an idea.

Re: New seats
I think buckets would be too tall for 3rd row. I was thinking of having them cut the brackets out of the escalade and installing them in plywood with a cross member under it

Re: New seats
Have you made any progress with your seats? I'm interested to see how you mount them and what you do with the center console.

Re: New seats
I'm interested in doing the same. My '72 Burban has ~2001 black Chevy Tahoe front and 2nd row seats. I want to add a 3rd row of similar vintage/look seats, but unsure how to mount them. Any suggestions would be great.
