OEM looking fendertriming for 37" tires

So I started playing with MS paint and this is what i came up with for the 73-80 fenders. I didnt do it to scale but i figure this is about 1" forward, 2" up and 2-3" back. Also you could go a little higher with the "fang", I moved it about 3-4" up.

After reworking, the red lines are where the cuts would be and the arrows are the direction each section would be moved. Might take some trial and error though. Seems so simple in Paint!

I plan on removing part of the back part of the fender to match the front length. i want to run 35's but as a daily i don't want it to tall. Here's a Photochoped of what I'm planning.

That looks really great! Nice work! I wish it would look that nice in real life. We´ll see what i can come up with!

looks good that way, but 35´s are way easier to fit than 37s, especially if you flex it out a lot OR have an LT coilover suspension. Then the fender openings seem sooooooo small! With 35s I never had any rubbing issues at all. the 37s wouldn´t even turn at ride hight without hitting the fender!

Thanks for the link, nicely done.

This is the way to keep the inner fender somewhat reusable. With what I have in mind, the inner fender either needs to be heavily modified or a custom one built.

But it is really nice and helpful to see all the different approaches!
