Cheyenne Super glovebox emblem, barrel nuts

Does anyone have photos of the original barrel nuts so I can get the right ones? Do these go under the aluminum/woodgrain panel and into the steel door, or do they install into both the aluminum/woodgrain panel and steel door together (do they get inserted before or after the aluminum panel is glued on)?

Re: Cheyenne Super glovebox emblem, barrel nuts

On my truck (71 Cheyenne Super) they were in between the aluminum/wood grain trim and the steel glovebox door.

I'm going to follow this thread because I need to find a source for these.

I bought mine at NAPA. They had to get the book out and look them up in there.

Here is an assortment on e-Bay.

X2 on napa, take your emblem and match the shaft to barrel nut you need.
