68 patch panel question

I'm curious if anyone makes the panel that is under the inner cowl section. Mine is rusted pretty badly just below the openings in the inner cowl panel. You can look up inside the cab under the dash and see it. I'm removing the cowl now to access it. Anybody have a source for these or will I have to make them myself?

Unfortunately you will have to make this piece, it is not a reproduction item. Best thing to do is become a supporting member and find someone who is cutting up a cab and buy these cuts from them. Good luck with your progress and post some pics, that also helps with being able to help answer questions.

Where is Washington NC anyway ?

Thanks GR8 68. I was afraid of that.

I'm just west of Washington near Greenville.

Washington is about 90 miles east of Raleigh.

Yeah, it's nice and quite with a bunch of isolated straight aways.

I've heard of Belews creek for sure. Bunch of my colleges have worked there.

Re: 68 patch panel question

You could search over in the "for sale" section for someone selling "cab cuts"

Re: 68 patch panel question

My cab cowl was really bad!!! I found a member that was going to cut a cab up , sent him the pictures of what I needed to repair. The cab he cut up was even the same color as mine.

Wow! That worked out. I'll take some pictures of the section needing replacement. I am taking progress pictures. Planning on posting them once I get closer to completion. It's a long drawn out process for me.
