MSD 8362 Distributor
I was thinking of installing this distributor in my 72 K5. Will it fit?

Re: MSD 8362 Distributor
It should. Its a tight fit. When installing you'll have to take the cap off...

Re: MSD 8362 Distributor
back when I used to use a dist. per se, the coil in cap was tight, like 1/2" - 3/4" tight. That was a coil in cap type like yours. You would be better off if you used a small cap with a separate coil mounted elsewhere
JMHO, but if there was any engine shift you will break the cap, and leave you stranded. This is on an off-road condition

Re: MSD 8362 Distributor
Thanks for the replies. I will find out soon enough. I ordered my 1978 corvette spark plug wires today. As soon as I get them I will make the swap.
