Trying to Locate

Does anyone know where I can get the rod retainers for the handle on a fleetside tailgate? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Smitty

Re: Trying to Locate

Recommend a WTB ad for anyone parting any 67-72 fleetside or you can go to LMC , 95 cents apiece (Part # 30-1618). They also sell the insulators - same page.

Re: Trying to Locate

If their the same used in the door you can get them in the help section at auto zone or in the classic industries catalog in the door parts section. I thought I had a pic of the one I replaces but I can't find it and I'm not home till Sunday

Re: Trying to Locate

Thanks Jocko, Looked right at it this afternoon, and didn't register. Maybe I'm brain dead or something. Just placed my order for clips and insulators which the guy doing my restoration said were nonexistant. This board is the most awsume place I've ever been associated with. There is always some one who has the answer to any question asked. By the way they are completely different from the clips on the rods for the door handles. You're help was greatlrpy appreciated. So thanks again.
