Heater fan not working

When I got my 81 stepside back from the paint shop I noticed that the heater switch fan no longer works. The light that illuminates the heater switch box has power so I am stumped. I found no blown fuses either, and the heater box was bought NOS from a Buick dealership by me. Am I overlooking something?

Re: Heater fan not working

I would remove the heater control from the dash and wiggle the connector at the fan switch. In my case, the connector had dried out in the Arizona heat and was no longer making good contact. Wiggling the switch with the fan in the on position made the fan work intermittently. The switch harness with connector is still available from AC Delco.

Sorry for the late update, I just bought a house!

I did that but still nothing. I checked the fuses and wires with nothing unusual found. The painter painted the wire blades on the fan itself under the hood, but I Dremel Tooled it off them and still nothing. I am beginning to suspect the fan itself...
