82 Silverado restomod - turbo LSx build

No progress on the truck, so I thought I would update you guys as to what I have been doing.

Some douchenozzle decided to break into my Miata and pull the phone mount off the dash. No clue why, I never lock it and there was nothing of any real value in it.



Luckily I have a spare Miata. I've been meaning to pull the last useful parts off of it and scrap it. Now seemed like a good time.

First I pulled the doors. I also removed the deck lid but I didn't get a pic of it. Looks like a deck lid.



Started pulling the dash. Not as hard as you would think, honestly. Just very dusty.



Not a whole lot left on my parts car at this point.



Slightly more electronics than my square body.



This weekend I'm going to pull the wheels off for a spare set and then take it across the scales.



Dash all out and sitting on the tailgate of my 82, waiting for me to clean it up and put it in this weekend.



I promise as soon as I'm done with this I'll pull the drivetrain from the donor Yukon
