'68 Fuel line/in-line filter location
Guys,
Just finished dyno'g my new 406 SBC. I'm going to install new in cab tank/sending unit and fuel line. I'm going with AN fuel line from sending unit all the way with an in-line fuel filter, question is does this go before fuel pump or after? With this I shouldnt have to worry about anything related to fuel for a long time, I hope!  DB

Fuel filter is best placed after thye fuel pump right b4 the carb

Is it a new tank? I am assuming it is a carbureted engine. If it is a used tank I would run a 100 micron prefilter to protect the pump interals and then a 30/40 micron filter at the carb.
