turn signal stuck on + nasty wiring. Can you check something?

Guys,

71 C10 pickup...

I just started having my right side marker light and dash turn signal indicator stay on. I read somewhere here that its probably a ground.

In my testing, i see that the front lamp harness has some pretty nasty wiring, so ill probably end up replacing the harness.

But I also noticed something strange. My front marker light wiring (light and dark blue wires) on both sides have continuity with each other and the brown wire.

I unplugged all the lights from the sockets, took out the flashers in the fuse panel and disconnected the rear tail light harness. Still have continuity.

I disconnected the fire wall connector and the continuity went away.

So, Im wondering if its something in my turn signal switch?

If one of you guys could check to see if you have continuity between the light and dark blue marker light wires (to each other, and also each to the brown wire), id appreciate it.

Any other help is appreciated!

thanks.
