Stepside Tank and Compressor Mounting
Figured out where to mount tanks and a compressor on my stepside. I wanted to leave the space open between the frame rails in the back for a future Boyd's tank. I also wanted to keep everything hidden as much as possible.
I ended up using 2 tanks, 3 gallons each, one on each side. My idea is to just manage my air easily, nothing extreme or constant, for now anyway. Started working on my manual valve install under the seat and easily accessible with my left hand. This stuff is fun! |

Looks good. The step side makes it fun. I am also ruining a Boyd's tank and put my 5 gal tank between the frame behind the fuel tank

Re: Stepside Tank and Compressor Mounting
What is the little round thing and who makes the manual valve?

Re: Stepside Tank and Compressor Mounting
The round thing is the filtered air intake for the Viair 444C compressor. The valve is made by Air Jaxe, called the FourPlay, used to be Little Larry's.

Re: Stepside Tank and Compressor Mounting
Works great, easy to regulate flow with the valves.
