16.5 rims/tires
Dude! i'm gettin nailed to the wall here. have ya'll seen the price of 16.5 tires lately??? $107 a piece! i'm feelin kinda victimized. i mean, the least they could've done is lube me up first! i think it might have been cheaper for me to buy a set of 16" rims and tires than just 16.5 tires. lemme know if ya'll have any suggestions. this truck is a 3/4 ton so it has 8 lugs on it....hard to find a good lookin set of rims for it. i don't have the cash to swap to a different lug pattern, so any good places to find rims, holler at me...thanx

Summit has US Wheels 97 series (chrome steel wheels) for 62 (16.5x8.25) and 67 (16.5x9.75) and they have 26 series for 70 and 72 (same sizes). They also have a lot of other wheels but they cost more. Good luck.

I bought a set of 8.5x16.5 Cooper radials about a year back for $400 from the Tire Farm (mounted and balanced).
I would part with the set (4) for $200 with a trade in of orig rims (not split rims)......But shipping across the country would be a killer! Don't know what size or brand you're talking about, but you should check Goodyear. A year ago they quoted me $200 each. That was $40 more per tire than my old Goodyears. They did last a long time, but that was to much. I settled for a pair of 33X12.50R16.5 General's for $238 out the door. A year old and still look new. They only have a D rating but I never haul any load for any distance.

where you at? I have a set of 2,000 mile old, 16.5X9.50 Good year workhorse tires on my wrecked truck. Mounted and balanced, cost me 400, I'll let you get them for 200. They are on plain stock white wheels, non split ring. E-mail me at longhornmail@yahoo.com if you are interested. I'm in Central Texas.

i'm in baton rouge, louisiana...i'd be willin to buy a set of those tires. the rims i have are aftermarket though...they are american racing, i think, they are brushed(smooth) w/ the rivets along the outside edge. they are 16.5's and i kinda like em. if ya'll would be willin to part with just the tires then i would definitely be game. thanx for the help....my e-mail address is telmesumpm@hotmail.com later.nate

How wide are the rims? If they are more than 7 inches wide, the tires won't fit. (That's what the tire dealer told me anyways)

You think $107.00 a piece is alot for tires???? That is DIRT cheap for 16.5 tires, I just bought tires for my truck at $230.00 a peice, my wheels were another $255.00 a piece, so I figure in tires and wheels alone I am pushing $2000.00....
