FYI, I used 2 coats of VHT high-temp paint over 2 coats of this KBC 1200 degree primer. After 3 months of the truck sitting outside, there are no signs yet of any rust. Much better than using just VHT paint. Turns out the Hedman extensions aren't aluminized, so I need to coat them, too. For your headers, I'd suggest using some type of rust converter before painting.
