Distance between axle perches?

I am converting a 71 GMC from leaf springs to the Ridetech trailing arm coil over set up. I need to know the stock distance between the axle perches.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Distance between axle perches?

Being that the perches a set on a angle and also there are many obstructions to get a straight line from perch to perch , it would make it a good gestamate at best for the distance mesured between both perches .......... My gustament tells me from rear Ubolt hole center to hole center would be 41'' 1/2''

Re: Distance between axle perches?

You may have already set up your rear end, but here is an old thread where I took some measurements.

Re: Distance between axle perches?

Thanks for the link. I haven't welded them on yet so I can still tweak them. Trying to figure out where to set my pinion angle then I weld them up.
