What finish did you use on the bottom side of you floor pan ?
Looking for ideas on what others have used for finish on bottom of floor pan on blazer during restoration. Any ideas or pics greatly appreciated

Mine got a good undercoating ,dont remember what kind .

Epoxy over bare metal then painted with satin black urethane single stage.

Say 69 72,curios as to bottom of box panels I see two drain holes.Were those oem and you drilled an xtra hole?

Thanks for your reply.Just realized what I did to bottom of mine.Wont hurt none though.Gettin ready to seal mine up to.Not sure on product yet myself.Not meaning to steal your thread Mike.

U-POL on the bottom of the floor, POR-15 on the rocker boxes, frame and bottom of fender wells.

I used lizard skin ceramic undercoating. I'm not putting carpet back in so I needed something to keep it cooler. They say 20+ degrees difference. I did firewall also. Really happy with how it looks.

I used OEM rocker guard over the epoxy primer. Then painted it in single stage paint in body colour. Pictures in my build thread although the texture appears a lot stronger in the picture from the lighting than it actually has.
As far as I know from the factory the General painted them factory body colour and then sprayed a black anti-chip type material is key areas.

Ya'll might wanna check out (spraylinings.com) you have way more options than with others, You can have a smooth or rough texture I went smooth so it shouldn't hold dirt, oil/grease and road grime way easer to wash and clean. Talk to Randy Lutz

Epoxy primer top aND bottom then lizard skin sound Deadener and thermal inside and box liner on the bottom that damn rust can go to hell and stay away.

I had mine media blasted then I sprayed epoxy primer on then went in behind that and shoot it with Rocket bedliner kit.....
Should be around when my grandkids , grandkids are here!!
