1972 C20 dropped 8lugger build
thought I'd post some of my pics of my perpetual project.
I wish I had pictures of the truck before I started messing with it as a 14 year old. oh well... here's some progress stuff. I painted the truck almost 8 years ago now, I didn't do a great job and now I'm in the process of redoing the whole paint job (among other issues that came up along the way) |

Re: 1972 C20 dropped 8lugger build
all of the above pics are maybe slightly out of order but, I was also sporadic on which phase I moved from. I was all over the place for a while. I kind of started all over after I did the c notch on the frame, that's when I pulled the cab off, shaved the heater core and cleaned up and painted the frame. I am now in the process of installing my 396. I am leaving the sm465 in it...for now |

Re: 1972 C20 dropped 8lugger build
I did have a tough time deciding rims cuz I do like the 8 lug but not a ton of options out there so I decided to go with wheel vintiques steelies. 16x8 in the front, 16x10 for the back. I have yet to obtain rubber.
