1968 chevy c10 build
Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum so I just thought I would share my current project with everyone. I have a 1968 chevy c10 long bed that I am building. I am doing a complete frame off restoration on this one. Originally it was a 3/4 ton 8 lug, which I have converted over to a 5 lug. It has a front end from a mid 70s chevy and a 12 bolt rear end with a coil over shock setup. So far I have completed the frame and replaced the only rusted panel on the truck, which was the left rocker panel. The cab is sitting back on the frame and now the mock up process has started. All trim and emblems have been removed. As more progress is made I will keep this post updated for anyone who may be interested. Also, at the end of this build it will be auctioned off on ebay to help kick off the start of my new shop. I have a few pictures that I will post from when I got it to the current stage. Thanks for looking!

Re: 1968 chevy c10 build
I finally had a chance to get some work done on the c10 today. We made a ton of patches today to fill in all of the unnecessary holes on the firewall. All we left is the gas pedal, steering column, and brake pedal holes. Tomorrow we will be installing the mock up engine and transmission so we can make the motor and transmission mounts, and start fabricating some custom wheel houses. The new rocker panel and motor mounts from LMC Finally showed up also.
