Steering wheel info

I would like to restore a steering wheel similar to this.I would like to know if any one could tell me where to get the new paint divider rings.I haven't tried to take the old ones off yet but pretty sure i will destroy them. They almost look like a hog ring but more round and i'm sure stainless.I have four rings on mine and i want to paint it red and white.Welcome any help.

here you go: http://www.impalas.com/1959-66-impal...4-per-car.html
From the shape, you might be able to do a little prying from both sides and pop them off intact and then just tighten them back up before reinstall. At a minimum, I'd try removing and see if you can save em, and then order these if you need.

Re: Steering wheel info

Jocko Thank you just what i need! I bought a 66 nova wheel off fleabay and its blue.I checked a bunch of chevy parts sites the last few days and must have missed these.I redid a 65 impala a few years ago the wheel was very similar with these rings.I thought the same thing try to pry them off and reuse if i can but i know my luck! Thats why you guys are awesome thanks again.
