Re: 60-66 Development/ Concept Photos!
I thought so too, but if you look real close, it is just a backwards negative.

Re: 60-66 Development/ Concept Photos!
I love this stuff! Obviously, GM had a crew of highly skilled craftsmen who's job it was to hand fabricate things like one-off badges, special trim, or prototype grills. Dream job, and too Cool!

Re: 60-66 Development/ Concept Photos!
I thought I'd add this picture since there are no panels or burbs on this thread, this one has a really cool trim package

Here is one. No steering wheel or suspension, this thread would be very appropriate!

Very KOOL. I see some of the photo's in the early post's had date on them in 1958 so they were ahead of there time...

Re: 60-66 Development/ Concept Photos!
Truly Amazing photos! So glad you shared them with us. I have a 1966 C10 Custom Cab Short Bed that is loaded! So neat to see how they developed one of the best looking truck designs Chevrolet has ever came up with!

Re: 60-66 Development/ Concept Photos!
Thanks for the trip in the Wayback Machine! I find it interesting in that all the clay models have a BB window but once they start pressing sheet they stick the dinky small window in there...

Re: 60-66 Development/ Concept Photos!
Interesting that there are no stepside design studies shown. I guess it was always the intent to use the previous generation's fender design.
