Re: Good Deal?

I don't know if it's a good deal or not. But I would like to find one close to home.

Re: Good Deal?

I would say it's a good deal you find a few around here but not GM mostly aftermarket.

I tried searching them on the forum but didn't see any, I know I should post in what's it worth, but since this thread is already here what do you guys think it's worth?

Re: Good Deal?

It's a good deal if you have a use for it. The GM-branded units are pretty rare.

Re: Good Deal?

Its a good deal if you can source the missing parts. Would be very, very hard to find and useless without them.

Re: Good Deal?

That'll look good in my '67, I won't cut the dash for the modern type of AC. But again, wrong coast.

Talking Re: Good Deal?

You still need compressor and the parts out in the engine bay along with holes cut in fire wall to run the hoses. Those units are pretty good for what they are. It being a GM brand is a big +!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
