Question about the 67-72 radiator. Is it possible to put an oil cooler in each side?

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
On LS applications we can only use one cooler (in the driver tank) as the passenger side has to be divided to make it a true dual pass. As such, there isn't adequate room to put a cooler. Now, on SBC style crossflow units, there is enough room to put in 2 coolers.

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
We have patterns for 1969-1982 corvettes, but not 1968-earlier. I can check our books to be positive and will let you know. Also, if we dont have the pattern, if you have your original and would be willing to send it to us, we can make an exact fit prototype.

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
Sparky, can you work me up a price for a radiator with electric fans and shroud for our 72 - C10 with a LS conversion in it (include my forum member discount please). Would like the inlet and outlet on the same side (passenger) and would like the steam port as well.
Also, what size ports will the transmission cooler be ? What hoses would you recommend for this radiator with the LS Swap ? (part numbers would be awsome !) Thanks, Wade

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
For the fan & shroud kit, what kind of power are you going to be putting down? And are you going to use any power adders? I'll need that info before recommending fans.
On the LS applications, we build them with steam port, both inlet and outlet on passenger side, and we use the LS sized ports (unless requested otherwise). The trans cooler uses 1/4" NPT fittings. For hoses, we don't recommend any specific hoses due to the wide range of applications. We do have some customers that have posted their hose p/n's on this forum, but we don't keep any on file. |

Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
Based on that, the standard dual 12's should be enough. Here is your discounted pricing:
Radiator: $425 Fan and shroud kit w/ dual 12's: $225 Shipping: $65 We have optional matching overflow tanks for $110, and we offer radiator polishing for $150. If you'd like to order, send me a pm with your email address and I will put together an invoice and email it to you. |
