Need opinions on bed strip color.
Looking for opinions here
I'm about to start redoing my bed wood and have been tossing ideas around about the color I will paint the strips My body color will be the original Medium Olive Green. The wood is yellow pine with a medium stain and Boiled Linseed Oil to protect it. Thoughts on the color that I'm going to paint the bed strips: 1. Medium Olive to match the body 2. Dark Olive to tie into the dark green in the cab 3. Hammered Steel 4. Gloss Black 5. Satin Black 6. Bare Steel Regardless of the color, I will be using a clear Bed liner as a protective topcoat on the strips. |

Re: Need opinions on bed strip color.
I personally would go with medium olive to match the body. I assume the inside of your bedsides and front panel as well as gate will be medium olive.Another color might be to much...think it will flow better against the wood and matching the rest of the bed will give it a rich look without trying to hard...Rob

Medium olive. And while you're at it, paint the wood too like good ol GM did when new! Just kidding of course, custom bed wood is cool. I'd still go with Med olive strips though.
