good aluminum heads
has anyone ever used the trick flow heads or the edelbrock performer rpm heads? i was possibly considering one of these two heads. just curious if anyone had any experience either or possibly both

they are both good heads and have lots of potential. i myself would go with the edelbrocks out of those two choices

The TFS has had some quality problems in the past but they have made improvements in quality and design to correct the problems. Most of the problems involved the early Twisted Wedge heads but I've returned a set of the 23 deg heads because I didn't think the valve pocket machining was up to snuff. BTW they (TFS) didn't give me any hassle about returning them and paid for all the shipping charges for the exchange. The second set of heads looked good. IMO the 23 deg head for the SBC is a good value.
The RPM head is also very good product and would be my choice of the two for a street driven SBC of 350 cid or less. The larger ports of the TFS may be a better match if your running a high reving small block or 383-400 cid.
