1981 Grill and Headlights in my 1984 C10?

Hello,

I'm trying to see if I can fit the 1981 grill and headlights into my 1984 C10, I like the look of the single lights and the grill much better on the 81/82 than mine!

Thanks in advance!

Rob

Like this grill!

i think the radiator support is 2 or 4 headlight specific. plus the 81 mounts turn signals in bumper not grill but yes is doable

Thanks for the quick reply Jeramy! I'm planning on changing the bumper for the turns and would understand re-wiring and perhaps new rad supports. I just didn't want to hear that I needed to replace the front clip!

When I had an 81 I always wanted to switch to the 4 headlights lol. I thought the squarish 81 headlights looked too ford like. Now I love my round spot lights on the 70's trucks. If you found someone with an 81 they may just swap you. Good luck.

Hi There..... I think you might have a little trouble. The single headlights are quite a bit larger than the headlights in the 4 lamp system. Don't believe the light buckets fill fit in your 4 -lamp header panel. I believe you will need to swap in the header panel from the 81. (it will bolt right in your 84)

Thanks for all the help and replies, looks like it's doable with enough of the right parts replaced.

I understand I will need the grill, headlight brackets, headlight trim, extended lines for parking lights, to go to the right bumper.

Think I'm all set, thanks again folks!
