rally wheels beauty rings HELP?

I have a set of 15' 5 lug rally wheels on my 67 chevy C10 and I looking for a set of aftermarket beauty rings. I am not sure if the correct rings are 2 1/2 or 3 inches wide. Does any of you guys know where to get these that are close to stock gm ones? thanks Rick

Re: rally wheels beauty rings HELP?

If I was you I'd hunt around for originals instead of getting aftermarket ones. I bought aftermarket ones from EBay a few years ago and they don't look the same as the originals on the truck. If your truck is a driver and not a perfecto show truck, originals with a bump or slight scratch would be hardly noticeable.

Do you have the truck style rally's or the corvette style rally's?
The rings are different.

Re: rally wheels beauty rings HELP?

Why does it matter?
The wheels aren't original!
I prefer narrower trim rings. Like 1 or 1 1/2 inch.
Make the wheel look deeper.

Re: rally wheels beauty rings HELP?

You can put any width trim ring on (2", 2.5", whatever) as long as it is for a 15" wheel. Use whatever looks best to you.

Re: rally wheels beauty rings HELP?

thanks guys I think the 3" cover too much of the 5 lug wheels and work good on the 6 lug wheels. I am going to try the 2 or 2 1/2 ones so you can see more of the wheel itself.

They are not 15x9 unless they have been widened. The widest stock rally is 15x8.

Will a 2.5" or 3" ring fit on a 6.5" van rally ? On my last truck I staggered the trim rings and had narrow ones up front and wide in the rear .

Re: rally wheels beauty rings HELP?

No. For the 6.5 rallies, you need 1.5 inch rings. I run. 15x8 rallys and 4" rings.

Re: rally wheels beauty rings HELP?

The originals were stainless.
Just be aware that most of the aftermarket stuff is cheap chrome plated steel and doesn't hold up well.
Reason the tabs bend so easy too!
