Tie Rod question

Gents,
What are the differences in the tie rod ends between a 72 C20, 72 C10 and a 73-87 1/2 ton?

The reason I am asking is I am converting my C20 to a dropped C10, the spindle maker requires me to use 73-87 ball joints and tie rod ends, will the outer fot into the C20 sleeve? If not will the 73-87 tapered end fit in the C20 steering arm (the one that connects the two sides if the truck)?

In short will I have to purchace the inners as well as the adjusting sleeve?

Will I have to get a new steering arm?

Are the treads the same? Is the taper the same?

I've found that the 73-87 C-10 stock spindles are different from the '72 C-10 in that the tapered hole for the outer tie rod ends is larger. As for the other questions... anybody?
