Who knows what this was for?

Anyone have any insight on what this Dymo-mite label might have been for. My truck was pretty much 100% original until I got it it and I know that it was in California its whole life. Just curious on what this might have been. I thought it was kinda cool to leave it on the fan shroud after the engine bay cleanup. [IMG][/IMG]

Something a previous owner put on, nothing from the factory or dealer that I know of.

May be that original owner purchased it there from a car dealer on that date or it was his first date. Kinda cool it survived this long though.

If it wasn't a cali truck.. i.e. sold out of a cali dealer..
say it was in a dealer from another state and traded to a cali dealer cause the customer wanted that truck and that dealer outside the state had one..
It have to pass the cali emissions.. and be retuned...

When we moved to cali in 75... My dad brought his car. and it had to be retuned per the cali emissions C.A.R.B.
It got tha same label only it was put on the air cleaner lid..
his was done in Orange county..
