Ok, I found one. I'm pretty certain I have a second one to make a pair. Looking now, then I will post pics.

Re: Wanted nos 71-72 Super emblems

a1vintage,

I have these two for sale. They are NOS with no boxes, and they aren't perfect. I think it is very possible the flaws they have could be factory defects or simply shelf wear. The studs show no signs of ever being mounted.

Here are the flaws I see:
-"Emblem 1" (the one on right in first picture) has some minor chrome pitting on top (facing sky).
-The worst flaw of either emblem is that "emblem 2" has some chrome chipping or pitting on the top (emblem on left in first picture).
-They both have very light pitting on the "super" letters.
-They both have some very light scratches in the red paint.

If I were to sell them straight up, and given their condition, I would want $175 shipped.

I am interested in NOS trades or partial trades. Let me put together a list of items I'm looking for besides the tailgate trim. It might be later tonight before I can get that put together...

Ok give it some thought. they may look better in real life. Pretty nasty for nos. but I have some Z28 emblems that are flawed from the factory so I do understand conditions.

Have you had a bad experience with aftermarket ones? I certainly understand wanting NOS, but it seems like a simple piece to repop (hard to mess up). I'm just curious as I was about to pull the trigger on some aftermarket ones.

The after market arm rests that I have used are good and if I can't find nos I will go there!
