Adavance, I am familiar with the rope procedure, Not sure I've done it except help (watch) when a kid with dad.
I might wait a couple of weeks till he is here and see if he can help install it. I do have plenty of other stuff to do besides the windshield

Just a few things done today, little odds and ends. Installed seat frame, Bought a headlight switch from Classic, installed. Worked on right door windlace, about half installed. Final clamp on fuel line at frame. here is another picture of the pedals, you can see I will have to move the brake pedal pad for some clearance.

I watched the guys put my windshield in. They were
very experienced and made it look easy.... but there was three of them and they had a system down pat. Is your windlace the type that slides in the channel? If so, what did you use for lube?
