Where can I get ground effects/body kit for the 82? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Really wanting a set of ground effects for the 82. Currently has side pipes but wanting to take them off and replace them with a body kit. Any info on where to buy or order some plz let me know.

Don't think they produce ground effects anymore for these years. You can still find them for '90s trucks and newer, but 73-87 isn't a huge market for ground effects. Ebay and craigslist searching will probably be the only way as they'd be originals from the 80s.

The main supplies/makers of ground effects/body kits don't list anything for older chev's that I can see.

I was down in mx and I saw a guey with a 85 chevy with ground effects personly me I think it looked sick I might go this coming week again and if I do ill be sure to snap some pics
And ask wrre he got them from or what truck did they belong too

I sure appreciate it fella's. There is some out there somewhere that someone will let go of I'm sure. My dad had an 82 and 85, he had ground effects on both of his but that was 10 years ago or longer. I'll keep looking online, junk yards, and old barns might eventually run up on a set.

This is my 82 currently running side pipes. Just wanting fix it like my dad's was when he was my age.
