87' Dual tank fuel help

I'm sure this has been asked but because of the volume of threads on here I can't seem to find what I'm looking for with what I'm working with. Have an 87' Sierra, fuel injected 305 I'm yanking out and putting in a 5.3 LS with 4l60 tranny. I'm determined (cause it's cool and it currently works) to keep my dual fuel tanks working when the swap is complete. I've heard a myriad of things about how to do this. I have a returnless system, truck intake. Can I use the stock fuel lines and just get new fittings for the new pumps and corvette regulator or do I need to replace all fuel lines? Basically, can someone who knows this help me out from the tank all the way forward to the rails? My buddy used this site for his build and I've learned a lot. Thanks in advance guys!!

One of the above, 2 walbro 255 pumps or equivalents
I recommend Gmachinz here on the forums selector valve upgrade harness and the appropriate hoses and you should be good to go. I have similar mine is a return system and have been good for 30k+ miles.

Thanks.
Appropriate hoses is kinda where I need some assist. If this is gonna go like I think it should, since I already have hard lines ran for my FI, I only need to change any/all rubber lines with the correct fittings etc. Is this correct? Or do I need to replace all line?

Re: 87' Dual tank fuel help

You can retain the stock TBI hardlines and use high pressure FI hoses @ the 65 psi selector valve location.

Re: 87' Dual tank fuel help

I'm still fighting with mine, selector valve issue. I used soft cupra nickel line for as much I could.

Do you have the 65 psi one?

Re: 87' Dual tank fuel help

No, but I'm old school, low pressure pump outfitted. Two low psi pumps, two filters. I think my issue is that I ran 22 GA signal wire to it in a "duhh" moment. It would feed from one tank and return to the other. Hell of a fuel waste on the long used parts run I made with two initially full tanks.

Re: 87' Dual tank fuel help

I bought Ol' Blue about a month ago. Everything works on this truck including the dang clock. So when my buddy kept saying "just do a single tank it'll be cheaper", I said DUDE...everything works and I like the coolness of having both tanks work after my LS Swap. To me, it's worth the extra $200 to do it. Cause I can.
