I have never liked the S10 swaps. All you're really gaining is the IFS. The 3100 and 3600 frames are much stronger than the S10 will ever be. By the time you chop, weld, modify for the S10 frame, might swell bought an aftermarket IFS and kept the original frame.

I originally was thinking of doing a Trailblazer chassis swap. The big problem with swapping into an AD truck is the width. Not to mention the TB frame has a huge drop in the center.

I like what you're doing much more than any chassis swap I've seen.

I've kind of changed course on my build. For what I want, the MII is a better option.

Next time someone says anything about the Ford power plant, ask them how many 9" rears and MII front ends are under Chevy's.
