Re: Post your Off year steering wheel pics?

Here's one similar to a couple of 88-94 truck and van wheels already posted. However, this one is leather wrapped and, as far as I have been able to determine, is unique to the 92 to 94 S10 Blazer LTs. The rim is also a bit fatter than the non-leather versions.

EDIT: Added a picture of my original wheel which is in great shape except for a few minor cracks.

Re: Post your Off year steering wheel pics?

I could not figure out which one to keep but when I put on the Green 3 spoke comfort grip wheel I knew it was gonna stay on. So now I will sell the other Green one I had, it was from a 1970 impala. both looked cool but I like the 3 spoke and found it in a 1969 olds 442 car.

Re: Post your Off year steering wheel pics?

I have always used corvette wheels in my rides, but my brother found me a 61 Impala wheel. I got parts for it on ebay and refinished it to match my truck.

Sport grip wheel on my 65 Chevelle SS. If I remember correctly, the Muscle Factory makes this high quality reproduction wheel.

60-66 wheel with the proper horn guts will hold a 67/68 horn button

Does anyone know if this is a direct swap to a 72 manual steering column? Thanks in advance.

Re: Post your Off year steering wheel pics?

I used the same steering wheel on my 68 and had to use a 73-? turn signal cam, contact spring and contact. The canceling cam is a HELP! part number 83233 I believe. Napa has all of the parts.

I bought my truck with a similar wheel, but with a Chevrolet horn button. It doesn't need any adapter to fit the column in my '72. The only problem I have with this wheel is the spokes block my line of sight to the bottom gauges on the dash.

Thumbs up Re: Post your Off year steering wheel pics?

I found this simulated wood wheel on E bay. I have the cracks fixed but haven't started sanding it yet.
It's going in the Ramp Rat truck when done along with the tilt column.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
