Front suspension assistance.
Well the other day i got the ebay deal of the century. A 87 corvette irs complete. For, get this 102.50. Plus 200 freight. This deal changed my plans a bit. So i want to put in the irs. I want the truck to sit low. I am a welder fabricator by trade with a little Cad knowledge. My question is the front suspension.who has done what with very noticable improvements? I know rebuilding the stock would help. Im just not sure where to start. I dont want to dump 5k in a front kit plus brakes. So anyone got ideas to modifie the stock or improve on it? Ive thought about a corvette front to match. I just dont know. The truck is a 72 is currently on airbags. I am not putting them back in. I. Would like to run coil overs if possible.

Re: Front suspension assistance.
You can have a look at the "make it handle thread"
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=419251 If you're not afraid of fabrication have a look at No Limit's "JT" truck. They modified the front crossmember, raising it up a bit and a bunch of other stuff for not a lot of coin. Ride Tech and others have some bolt on options for arms and coilovers |
