Re: Looking for my dads first truck

I do enjoy these threads where people try to find trucks from their past. I tried for some time to find some of my dad's old vehicles too but I came up empty handed. Your pic isn't working and that is a great starting point to share, but do you have any other info on the truck that could help like history, last known location and when it was sold, signature modifications/changes/dents/damage, etc.? There are a lot of trucks on this site and a lot of trucks that have passed through here, so it is possible someone has seen it or knows of it, but the more information the better.

Try using the tag number to obtain the vin through your state's DMV.

Then Google the vin number. No guarantees of course but there are many vins on the web.

Re: Looking for my dads first truck

Thanks for replying. I know that he sold it in Dalton, Georgia and he seen it on the road some after he sold it but he stopped seeing. I just really would like to see if it is still around and what happened to it after he sold it but I also would like to buy it back but don't have the money. Here are some picks of it and the tag number the tag is from 1983 but not sure when he sold it.
